Pet End-of-Life / EuthanasiaVeterinarians

At Hess Ridge Animal Hospital, we understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner can make. Our euthanasia services are designed to ensure a peaceful and compassionate transition for your pet when the time comes. We are committed to providing support, empathy, and the highest standard of care during this emotional journey.

Benefits of Our Specialized End-of-Life Services:Veterinarians

  • Hospital Euthanasia: If you prefer to be at our hospital, we have a dedicated and comfortable room where you can say goodbye to your pet. Afterwards we will provide a clay pawprint and cremation services that you elect. Our comfort room includes a separate entryway/exit so that you can come and leave privately.
  • In-Home Euthanasia: We recommend either Caring Pathways or Lap of Love for in-home euthanasia services.
  • Preparing for Euthanasia:
    1. Consultation: Schedule a consultation with our veterinarians to discuss your pet’s condition, quality of life, and the euthanasia process.
    2. Family and Friends: Consider who you want to be present during the euthanasia procedure to provide support and comfort.
    3. Questions and Concerns: Feel free to ask any questions or express your concerns during the consultation. We are here to listen and provide guidance.
    4. Choosing Aftercare: Discuss your preferences for aftercare, such as paw print and cremation services, with our team.
